Shanghai Rail Transit Airport Link Line is the first new line in the Shanghai Municipal Railway Network. The construction of Shanghai Rail Transit Airport Link Line will effectively relieve the passenger flow pressure, enrich the level of Shanghai's rail transportation, further enhance the radiation role of Pudong and Hongqiao integrated transportation hubs to the Yangtze River Delta region and the world, and provide strong support to enhance Shanghai's global city level and core competitiveness and implement the national strategy of integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta.
