Zirui tunnel is the controlling node project of Chengdu hub west loop project, and is also the last key link to realize the double-line completion between Chengdu South Station and Chengdu West Station, which will greatly improve the evacuation capacity of Chengdu railroad hub after breakthrough, and is of great significance to enhance the status of Chengdu railroad hub and achieve bus operation of the railroad circuit.
The slurry shield "ZiRui"(excavation diameter 12.84m) was used to excavate in the large grain size water-rich sand and pebble strata.
